COVID-19 Precautions
COVID-19 has changed the way so many of us go about our daily lives. For the beauty industry, most of the enhanced cleaning and safety precautions were already in place:
-
Not reusing linens
-
Frequent hand washing and sanitizer usage
-
Wiping surfaces down with hospital grade disinfectant
-
Wearing a mask during services
-
Placing tools in disinfectant after usage, and more.
In addition, here are some added things I’ll be doing to keep you safe:
-
Wearing a droplet protection mask at all times.
-
Limiting the number of clients and providers in the studio.
-
Removing all items that cannot be thrown away or immediately disinfected, after use.
-
Providing every client with a new KF94 or KN95 droplet protection mask to wear during your appointments.
-
Making hand sanitizer readily available to all clients.
-
A UV-C light sanitizer has been added to the treatment room.
-
Appointments have been limited and staggered to allow for extra cleaning time and to eliminate client overlap.
-
Limiting overall appointment availability to reduce exposure risks.
-
Increased usage of hospital grade disinfectant, throughout the day on high and medium touch surfaces throughout the entire studio.
There are also some new protocols for you, that are designed to keep us both safe:
-
Text when you arrive, and wait in your car until I come out to meet you.
-
If you do not have a droplet protection mask, (N95, KN95, or KF94), I will provide one for you. Once you put on the mask you’re given, it MUST remain in place, until you are outside again.
-
Unfortunately, there can be no hugging or hand shaking at this time. While I love catching up during our sessions, it's also recommended that we limit talking. Prolonged/animated talking tends to compromise the positioning of masks and make them uncomfortable. As always, please feel free to bring your headphones or take a lash nap.
-
Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer immediately after coming in.
-
Anything that cannot be immediately disinfected or disposed of has been removed. Feel free to bring your own blanket/throw, if you like to get cozy.
-
Wash your hands or use sanitizer before you leave the studio.
-
If you are experiencing any symptoms of ANY KIND, or have been near anyone displaying symptoms, please let me know ASAP. We will reschedule your appointment for a later date.
That’s it. Not so bad, right? If we follow these new guidelines together, we can all look effortlessly fabulous in our masks and on those zoom calls! I am beyond excited to see you. Know that you have been deeply missed, and your patience and support has been greatly appreciated.

If you have ANY questions or concerns about the precautions being taken, don’t be afraid to shoot me an email. I care deeply about your health, safety, and comfort.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
XOXO
Morgan
