Eyelash Extension Aftercare Tips | How to Make Lash Extensions Last Longer

Eyelash extensions are actually pretty simple to care for. Following these steps will keep you looking fabulous until your next touch up!

​

 

*Avoid steam and sweat for the first 12 hours.

 

*Avoid strong heat, such as ovens or bbqs.  Heat can melt or distort extensions.

 

*Avoid rubbing and pulling your eyelashes.

 

*Avoid mascara and water-proof/oil based products around your eyes.

​

*Don't use eyelash curlers.  (You won't need them!)

 

*Clean your extensions and remove eye makeup with a lash shampoo every day.

( I always have my fave, We Love Eyes, available for purchase.)

*Never brush your lashes when wet & and brush only the tips of your extensions.

 

*Avoid Neutragena products around your eyes.

 

*Book your touch up within 3 weeks, to fill in the area where your natural lashes have fallen out and new lashes are growing in.
